Yuen Long Main Store

Interspace was commissioned to completely renovate Hang Heung's iconic main store on Castle Peak Road in Yuen Long. Years of neglect had resulted in a degraded image for this landmark shop. Interspace conceived a restored 1920's shophouse design, restoring exterior architectural details and interior features from the original building's pre-WW2 design. Our amazing project team completed the whole building renovation in a record 45 days!

Restored Mezzanine

We re-opened the arcade space and restored the original mezzanine for future use as an upstairs cafe.

Double Happiness

A "Hei Hei" wall feature includes small coves for historical features to be displayed for curious passers-by.

Display Case

Hungry? Hang Heung's famous Wife Cakes are on display for locals and out of town visitors.

Logo Wall

Hang Heung's heritage shines thanks to carefully selected materials and finishes, staying true to the original shop's image.
