We developed this hospitality focused serviced workplace in close collaboration with our client, CEO Suite, establishing their first center in Hong Kong as a landmark for discerning enterprises seeking a prestige address at the new Victoria Dockside development by K11 in Tsim Sha Tsui. Spanning 25,000 square feet on the 7th floor of the Atelier K11 tower, the richly decorated public and private spaces play off the design features of the neighboring Rosewood hotel and the office tower lobby.
The front of house areas feature extensive use of statuario marble, walnut wood floors, rose gold trims, and hand tufted area rugs. All loose furniture was made-to-order with carefully selected fabrics to complement the wall panels, with feature pendant lighting as a focal point in key areas.
With four bookable meeting facilities, including a premium grade boardroom with sea views, this center can accommodate many simultaneous private gatherings. A large reception lounge and semi-private co-working area (including the meeting areas) can be interconnected through the upgraded lift foyer allowing for use as an open event space during non-working hours.
Special attention was paid to the design of the corridors, with pattern matched wood veneer paneling blending seamlessly into private office doorways and glazed partitioning. Customized wall sconces for room signage and gentle cove lighting references high-end hotel design, setting this space apart. Commissioned large-scale modern artwork adds points of interest throughout the office area.
Technology is deeply integrated into the design and function of this project, with huge interactive displays in the meeting rooms, mobile-controlled room and storage locks, facial recognition for general access control, networkable audio/PA throughout the public areas, interactive room booking panels, high density wireless internet access, and even a "connected" copier and espresso machine! Occupancy sensors automatically control the public area lighting after normal working hours, and daylight sensing lighting in the offices minimizes energy waste when there is ample sunlight through the curtain wall.
