As visitors walk into Secretariat's office from the reception, an expansive view across Hong Kong's harbour towards the Kowloon peninsula is gradually revealed through liberal use of double-glazed partitioning in the client-facing area.
Front and center, the boardroom's glazed partitioning is normally fully transparent to expose the amazing views across the harbour, but can be easily converted for private meetings with remote controlled roller blinds. A unique ceiling feature with "Secretariat Red" trim and inset magnetic track lighting within a Rockfon acoustic ceiling harmonizes the design, while the carpet and recessed dual screen VC system with acoustic panel surround is intentionally minimalistic to avoid distraction and focus attention.
A tidy open pantry bar setting was used for space efficiency and serves a dual purpose for internal use and as an event space.
A twin set of meeting rooms along the core wall face the Boardroom. Developed from the Secretariat brand, a "horseshoe" ceiling feature mirrors a round meeting table. Fabric panels with an inlaid glass marker board provide reverb dampening and a place for ideation.
